This is a sentence handed down through the ages in Zhou Dunyi’s “The Love of Lotus”, which tells the noble, elegant, faithful and kind spiritual quality of lotus flowers, and also outlines a beautiful posture of lotus flowers for people. The word “lotus” and “lotus” are homophonic, which means harmony and symbolizes happiness. Buddhism used lotus as a metaphor for Zen, and Sakyamuni Buddha touched flowers and smiled, creating a pulse of Zen. Zen is the highest spiritual pillar of Chinese artistic realm.

Our FULI carpet, have created our art carpet with the intention of Holland. Through the exquisite slicing and cutting techniques of craftsmen, the layers of lotus petals are displayed in front of us. This attitude of integrating art into life shows our inner Buddha nature. Lotus also represents the realm of purity, wisdom, consciousness and freedom, that is, “enlightenment”.
