This carpet design comes from a crayon game Juju Wang plays with her daughter. She would ask Juju for two or three animal images and use her imagination to create a brand new animal figure with crayon. The results are usually incredibly imaginative. FULI used very detailed handtufting techniques to recreate the strokes of children’s crayons. Stitching different colors together during the tufting process, experienced artisans created most of the patterns by hand.
